01/The short answer
Yes, and from the meeting point rather than from the car. On a terminal meet the bags change hands in the arrivals hall the moment you are met, which is the part of the walk that actually matters. It is included in the transfer and is not an extra.
This sounds like a small thing until you have pushed a trolley with three cases and a child across a car park deck at six in the morning. It is one of the clearest practical differences between a chauffeur booking and a car ordered on a phone.
QA-01/What happens at the meeting point
What happens at the meeting point
The chauffeur takes the trolley, or takes the heaviest cases, and walks with you. Nobody is handed a set of keys and pointed at a level. On a busy morning that walk can be five or six minutes, and doing it with company rather than alone changes the arrival.
At the car the bags go in properly rather than being thrown at a boot. Where luggage will not fit the vehicle booked, that is a conversation that should have happened at the quotation stage, which is why the enquiry always asks for a bag count.
QA-02/The limits, honestly stated
The limits, honestly stated
A chauffeur is not a porter service and cannot lift indefinitely. A very large group with a great deal of luggage is better served by a second chauffeur or an airport trolley arrangement, and it is worth saying so at booking rather than discovering it in a hall.
Airside is also out of reach. Nobody can help with a bag before you have cleared customs, which is where the genuinely heavy part of an arrival happens. That is what airport assistance services are for, and they are booked with the airline.
Bags taken at the meeting point, inside the terminal
Trolley pushed to the car, not just met at it
Loading and unloading at both ends of the journey
A second chauffeur for very large luggage loads
Airside assistance is booked through the airline, not with the car

On a kerbside collection
The help starts at the pickup area rather than in the hall. You bring the bags out yourself, then the chauffeur loads them. For a light traveller that is no imposition at all; for anyone with a full trolley it is the argument for paying the car park fee.
The saving on the fee is real but modest. Weighed against pushing a trolley alone through a terminal at the end of a long flight, most people decide the meet was worth it after doing the alternative once.
QA-04/Unusual luggage
Unusual luggage
Golf bags, skis, cellos, pushchairs and boxed equipment are all manageable if we know in advance. The constraint is nearly always the vehicle rather than the willingness, and a V-Class or a Sprinter solves most of it.
Tell us the dimensions rather than the description. Three suitcases means something different to everybody; ninety centimetres by forty does not, and it decides the car before anyone is standing on a pavement.
No. It is part of what a transfer is, and it applies at both ends of the journey. What can change the price is the vehicle: if the luggage needs a V-Class rather than a saloon, that is a different rate, and it is quoted before the day.
Can the chauffeur bring a trolley to the meeting point?
+
Usually, and at most terminals they will already have one. It costs a coin at some airports and nothing at others, and it makes a considerable difference to the walk out when there are more than two cases.
What if my luggage will not fit in the booked car?
+
The chauffeur will ring in and a solution is found, but it is far better avoided. Give an honest bag count at the quotation stage, including cabin bags and anything awkwardly shaped, and the right vehicle turns up in the first place.
Tell us the journey. We will send the price in writing.
Message us the date, the pick-up and where you are going. You will get a fixed written quotation with the vehicle, the chauffeur’s arrival time and what the figure includes — no form to fill in, and no estimate that moves later.
